• Episodes run anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. I don't have a strict time limit. I give guests as much time as they need to share their stories.
• Please set aside 1.5 hours for the entire interview as we may need spare time to answer any last questions – also, in case of any unexpected interruptions.
• The conversation is recorded through a video web service called Zencastr. (It is similar to Zoom but records better audio!) Once the interview is scheduled I will send you a link. (Which you will click open during our scheduled date/time.)
• Make sure to open the Zencastr link in Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
•The podcast will be recorded on camera. I may post the full on-camera conversation to Youtube or use short clips of our conversation for social media.
Housekeeping:
• Choose a quiet space with a good internet connection. Use a headset with microphone or earbuds to get the best possible sound quality.
• Silence your phone. Also, turn off Notifications on your computer.
• Do not move around and stay consistent when you are talking into your mic. No desk banging. All of these noises will manifest in the recording so I recommend a quiet place without any distractions.
•I like to think of this as more of a conversation than an interview. Just a casual conversation!
ON THE DAY OF THE INTERVIEW: Just relax! It’s going to be FUN!!!
• The airing of the podcast will depend on the scheduling date. For example, we may conduct the interview one week, but your episode may not “air” until a month later. I will send you a link once it's posted.
After Show is Posted:
• We want as many people to tune in to your interview as possible, so please share on social media, post on your website and promote as much as you are able, after the show goes “on the air.”
• I create social media content for each episode I can send you to share.
